Steroid inhaler for asthma..?

I was talking to a mate in work who said he's heard people using these while training to get the effects of steroids, is this likely??

those are cortico steroids. they act to reduce inflammation to open up your breathing tubes so you don't struggle to breathe.

they aren't anabolic steroids.

He is probably thinking of Albuterol. Some use it to aid in weight loss, but you could never get enough out of an inhaler for it to work that way. In that case people use liquid Albuterol.

clenbuterol is also used for asthma but it isn't an anabolic steroid either.

people who are on asthma inhalers for long periods of times are stuck being on them, hard to ween yourself off. I never recommend anyone use them unless its absolutely necessary. cortico steroids are addicting and dangerous for athletes to mess with. whether they are inhalers or orals, the long term damage from using them is not worth it

Im asthmatic and I use it (ADVAIR) it has no anabolic properties what so ever... lmao..
