Steriods in the Military??

I have been thinking of joining the Coast Guard for a while now... I have also been using steroids for a while now and I am not about to give them up. I am actually planning to do growth with test with in the next 3 months but might also be joining in that same time.
Do they do any kinds of blood work before and most importantly during your term? I am not worried about the growth but I know the test would show up on the results. Is anyone in the military or have been that have used it while serving? Thanks

I know law enforcement agencies do bloodwork prior to hiring and I would assume any other government agency would. I have never served in the military so I can't help you out.

2 yrs ago they didn't test you for juice if ur currently in the military unless they have some goood reason to. just testing for rec drugs . now to get in , i don't know.

the test are random and not very often

I was in for 7 yr (USMC) only got tested 2 times and they did the entire unit well over 800 people at one time
and only after a few people got busted off base with drugs


mostly the military is reactive on things like this not very proactive

but as always YOU need to decide and after seeing what they do where you are at

Sobered up after I was discharged, I think being high got me promoted faster and being drunk kept me alive.

i'm in the military 9 yrs in, 3yrs cycling, no probs here. Go through drug test every couple of months. They are only looking for the major rec drugs, unless they get tipped off about juice. I'm not sure about initial entry testing because I was so young and innocent when I first came in. Good luck bro.

i have a lot of buddies in the military that are on roids (used to live in an army town). they only tested for rec drugs and didnt give a shit about roids. really, they didnt give a shit about rec drugs either, since they tested 100 soldiers in one go, found that 45 of them were rec drug useds, dismissed 2 of them, nad then rather than say "hm. if our little sample gave use a 45% positive rate, why not test the rest of them?" they just...did nothing, and sent them all over to iraq

If you are in the military and are juicing tell NO ONE! Not your friends, family, roommate....NO ONE. They don't actively test for steroids, unless your command feels that you are on and it is interfering with your ability to perform your duties. The test is too expensive to administer randomly. They literally have to catch you with needles to justify a test. However, if you put on insane ammounts of muscle in a relative short period of time and someone wants to push the issue and accuse you...they can test. In short...if you are on...tell no one...and don't be a show off.
