Stealing games off of the net?

I recently moved and my cable guy saw my Xbox sitting out. He said that he knew a way that I could get copies of games off of the net.

He said his buddy burns games and there is something in the back of your console that you remove so you can play the games!?!

Has anyone heard or tried this?!? I was told it works for PS2 and for Xbox!

In order to play copied games from the net or rented you need to install a mod chip. Some chips require some soldering. I would reccommend a bigger hard drive be installed to save your games directly onto it.

use bittornado to download full game ISO's off the net. It takes ahwile to DL a file of the size of the games but hey it's free and you can always get leaked games before they come out like Halo 2 and GTA San Andreas.

Hell yea, it's worth a shot, plus if I can save some cash on games. I may have use for my Xbox now once the newer console comes out.

Hell yeah. I do it for the PS2. I do the blockbuster pass and rent as many games as I can for 1 month and copy them.

I also have bittorrent that lets me download games and I rip the image file onto a dvd. The only drawback is that it can take a few days to d/l the game depending on how fast your're downloading.
