STD/HIV testing: how often do ya'll have it done?

never, do you guys go to your pcp to get the tests done, at least for those who get it often. I guess if you sleep around alot you should, or if you have any reason to.
Wow, I have to say I'm little shocked here. If you're sexually active, then you need to get tested, often. I go every three months like clock work (as three months from your last encounter is the current accepted length of time for antibodies to appear in your system. Though some say that the newest brand of tests are able to detect from six weeks ago ((though I don't put much stock in that))).
At 36, I'm lucky that I'm still negative even though I'm a safety boy, shiat happens, and if I ever became infected and unknowingly passed it along to someone I simply couldn't live with that. It would be soul destroying. I urge people (especially young people as their demographic is the fastest growing segment of the US population becoming infected) to get tested. It takes only 20 minutes for the rapid test, and brings knowledge that saves lives.
