Staying on cycles, what's the real harm.

I'm sure there's a topic somewhere.

But would love to know your guys opinions, if Anyones done it, the possible effects. Pro's, cons.

And to avoid any flaming, I'm not doing this.

The main implication is the health hazards of long term use. The damage is minimized when you cycle on and off. This allows your body to recover and return to normal. I dont see any benefit to a young person staying on indefinitely. The only group that I believe should stay on forever is hrt patients.

Sent from my DROID BIONIC using EliteFitness

So what should you expect in terms of damage through long term abuse? Particularly what would it effect?

Sorry just curious I have friends who have been on permanently for 3 years

Your test will NEVER recover and you would have to stay on test for the rest of your life. So it's a big deal but that is just if you are using test. I get off cycles and then go on osta...sarms search sells them and you only need 12.5mg a day. I've gone up to 25mg and you get some great results.

Thanks appreiate that advice.

So 10 week cycle say, 10-12 weeks off on those, and what exactly do they do? Or good for? Test recovery and pct?

If you stay on forever your muscles will be full, you can be lean and big and veiny. I know of guys who take tren for 6b months. These people know the risks and realize that their HPTA is destroyed and realize that their lipids might be horrible. They understandthis and usually since they compete they don't care.
personally I will not do this because I don't ever want to be dependent on anythint. I will try hgh for long term though and I hope this let's me hold muscle while staying lean.

^^^This and not recovering and having to go on HRT for the rest of your life. If you are young then cycle on and off , and stay off the same amount of time or longer as you cycled. Best of luck to you..

heart attacks and strokes are real concerns...

what do you think will happen if you have terrible lipid profiles and high blood pressure for years and years.. combine that with a very high rbc count.. very dangerous.

then there are the liver and prostrate issues as well..

So all in all, I should really be passing this advice on to them.. since there not members of forums and really don't even know the substances they are pumping into their bodies.

One of them has been on Anavar / Test/ Dbol for 2 years.. (So he says) Whether i believe him or not is irrelevant, known him for 15 years, just don't want him crashing hard at 30 lol. What's his best shot in terms of PCT? if i can get him off the cycle for a year or so...

Thanks massively guys

Natural test recovery, lipids, BP are the real risks you take for long term. Your liver enzymes and prostate really have to do with the toxicity of the gear your on. Example would be test/ deca / eq / and such aren't very toxic. Tren, dbol, var (slightly) anadrol are extremely toxic and can damage the liver with extreme long term cycles. The longer you go the bigger risk you take but the type of gear does play determining factor in how many risks your looking at. Staying on anything for 3 yrs and not being a part of hrt is completely foolish and is a guarantee to f you up.

everything said above is sound. I will confirm that your kidney values will be strained, if you are running orals your liver values will be strained as well. your heart will be strained too. so basically you will harm your organ health.

the second problem also said above about the HPTA. if you stay on for a while then recovery will be difficult.. it can be done, but it will take a long time. and many guys for whatever reason do not recover and have to go on HRT at a very young age.

cycling is the way to go.

It all depends on the dose. Permanent test replacement at doses to get your T levels in high normal lab range is one thing.

Higher doses on the other hand over long periods are dangerous....

Your RBC will go through the roof, your blood will turn to molasses so your BP will go through the roof and in turn your heart will be working extra hard 24x7 to move your blood, even while resting, and it will grow to the size of a bowling ball and you will die.

Hey Bruv- I think just by reading the few posts you should get the idea. Gear can be beneficial and a huge boost but only when it's administered correctly and with care, otherwise it's a waist of cash and health... I don't recommend anyone getting involved without educating yourself to the extreme first. This is not something that you want to learn on the fly or even learn the hard way by dumb decisions in the past bc the consequences are all with your health and "livelihood"... (keyword is live) Go around and ask some diabetics (who aren't hereditary) if they would have understood better or cared more that their eating and living habits could have prevented their lifelong disease; if they would go back and do it differently and see what answers you get? I think in someway it's relative...

Appreciate the advice, I'll let you know if he'll come off em. I'm checking the links now. And will order in some proper PCT for him. Actually worried me a bit now. Don't want anything bad to happen to him. I'll see if he'll sign up, get you guys to talk sense into him.

And no it's not me, genuinely is a friend. I'm only on my first cycle :)

Thanks so much guys. Hugely appreciated.

^^^ you cannot worry about other peoples situations, there are guys on here that abuse roids and run them the wrong way... that is their body they are messing with. all that can be done is try to educate them on proper AAS use. with them 99% of the time they abuse roids to cover up poor workouts and poor diet.

Stevesmi hit it right on the head there.. Agree 100% gear is not a cover up or replacement for poor diet and training...

Since i've joined it really has hit home, as you probably noticed if you've seen my other posts. Cannot believe how highly you guys rate diet. I'm actually having some one to one's from some really genuienly nice people here. Starting my diet after christmas.

So it's helped massively. So just want to thank you guys again for the help and support i've gotten already.

I'll let him know.

Please notify me when you do, i'll be keeping an eye out. I'll check the other links to. Massive help thank you.
