Staying On All Year Long?

thewood

New member
Do any of u guys do this,i read a post where guys will go on a gram of test fro 4-5 weeks then go on maitinence for 3-4 weeks then back on a gram again, constantly switching up the gear they use,do any of you guys do this, would there be constant progress made?is there a website with guidelines to follow doing it this way??

I'm on permanently... don't see any reason to come off. I rotate what I take so that I change it every 10-12 weeks or so.

Staying on year round isn't that cost prohibitive. Sofa probably buys in bulk.

I have been on for 33 weeks. I don't see any reason to come off. This is actually my first cycle too by the way. You grow when you are in an anabolic state, so why end it? (well you grow naturally too, but much slower)

I hate to see people on here write out their cycles and they already determine it is going to run 10-12 weeks. When week 10 or 12 comes, they end the cycle... even if the gains were still coming strong. Which is is not a very bright thing to do is you are trying to MAKE gains....thus robbing themselves of the gains that would have still appeared in the upcoming weeks. It is a yo-yo effect. You get on, you get off, you get on you get off.... sort of like standing in a room and flickering the light switch on and off very fast.

I'm retired. I used to make infomercials... now consult in marketing and PR.

Exactly my perception. A year into this cycle I set PRs on every lift... and I've hit higher lifts on all of them since then. The gains do not stop after 10-12 weeks.

I've been making gains for a solid year and a half.

Yes, the gains are great... But you have to consider the physical ramifications of staying on for very long term... What if you had to come off becuase of availability problems, or if you just wanted to get off? Wouldn't you be worried about being permanently shut down? I realize some pro bb'ers don't care about that, and will likely stay on forever until they retire and then go on test replacement or whatever, but it doesn't seem like a wise decision IMO...

Well my blood work has come back very near perfect. Low test, but that is just because of the AAS use. I am on EQ and winstrol. My chlosterol, BP, liver count, lipid profile, etc... is perfect.

Yes. Too bad more of these people don't post over there.

Indeed, that may be true. I didn't say you couldn't have decent blood, lipid, and other profiles... I'm talking in terms of permanent loss of hpta function when you decide (it will have to happen at some point) to come off gear.

That was my concern too. Permanent shutdown of the hpta is the likely result from prolonged AAS use. That is well documented. That older you are the lower your natural production of IGF-1 levels and Test are. Age combined with prolonged AAS used (1 yr or more at a time) could cause irreversible damage to the hpta function.

I stay on pretty much year-round. Take alot of precautions though....Liver detox 4 weeks on 8 weeks off or less depending....hcg 10,000 i.u.'s every 6-8 weeks depending...hair supps just in case.....when Im "off" Im usually doing GH,T3,slin and low dose AS

God Bless

I am on pretty much all the time, except if injured or sick,
See gains and still have a progress to make,
I stay on growth even when injured or ill.

Year round for me also,My size doesn't fluxucate so i'm constantly improving.....................it feels great!

Like I said before, if it wasn't for hpta shutdown i'd wanna be on year round. I'm too young for this though, bye bye steroids hello powerlifting.

i wouldnt take androgens all year round but i would love to have the cash flow to run GH all year

I ran GH by itself for 6 months. All I noticed from it was fat loss, which could be achieved through other much less cost prohibitive methods. GH is best to stack with Slin and Test. By itself didn't really do much for me.

did gh help keep gains after a steroid cycle?

No. GH isn't designed to aid in muscle growth. You're going to lose a portion of your gains post cycle regardless of what you take post cycle. You'd be better off with Clenbuterol, anti-e's, HCG and lots of protein, creatine and glutamine. GH ain't going to do anything to help sustain the gains made from an AAS cycle. If anyone disagrees with this please post scientific evidence to the contrary.
