Starving myself on Fina to optimize fat loss

I keep reading how extremely anti-catabolic Fina is. So... wouldn't it stand to reason that, if one's primary goal was fat loss, he could drastically lower cals, do lots of cardio, and maintain muscle while losing tons of fat? Anybody try this? I'm thinking about it...
 
bro just eat lots of protein and low carbs...basically only eat carbs the two meals after you train. I think those are the only meals you need carbs anyway. Make sure you get you glycogen restored and get the proper nutrition when you need it. Eat healthy clean foods and you'll drop fat like mad. Don't starve yourself.
 
when im deiting i cant stand carbs! on dieting uhave to hate carbs and fat. I found that fina does help ALLOT during 0 carbn and wth heavy cardio. My mass is still there! but lowering bf.

you can drop the carbs all you want, but if you take in more calories then you burn (be it from protein, fats, or carbs) you will not loose weight.

its not just the carbs that matter, its total caloric intake, which has to be lower then total caloric expenditure
 
Oh man why does cutting out carbs have to be so damn tough though!? O.k. bros I'm gonna give it my best shot... thanks for the good advice...

I wouldn't drastically cut out calories. Just go low carbs a bit below maintenance (500kcalk or so) and do cardio 3-4 times a week at about 30 minutes a pop. I don't think dieting has to be made near impossible t9o get through especially if you're using gear.

no but really, like Nathan said just go a little below maitainencce on carbs and do cardio 3-4 times a week, you'll be golden (like your fina)

I wouldnt starve your self or no shit.I find when I do that I tend to end up going on an eating binge after a while.Thats just me.I also agree with Surge that you have to watch your total intake of calories not just carbs.For me I dont tend to watch carbs I pretty much eat whatever I just make sure my total of fats carbs etc.. are low and I've been making quality gains and also loosing fat.I mean I may get faster results if I cut out carbs, but i like food to much I'll deal with it taking a ittle extra time.

a given for you and me, but not to all the newbies, just go over to the dieting board and you will see what i mean, you see shit like "im not eating any carbs, why am i not loosing" you look at the diet and see that the idiot is eating close to 4000cals per day

I found that I Lose more BF by just slightly lowering my carb intake (about 150-200 g ed) and not going zero or extremely low carb. With no Carbs I can't work(construction) or train and I end up eating way to much protein and fat.

Id just drop your total calorie intake to about 400-500 below maintenace levels and do your cardio about 4-5 x's a week.

BTW at the start of week 3 I started sweating like crazy all day long inj 100 mg fina ed.:p tren Is a great tool to get cut, good luck

lol Well, I know that to lose fat I should keep total calories low even on low carbs... but that doesn't mean I always do it lol! Damn food! Why's it have to be so damn tasty!?

I'm half-way into week 2 right now. Damn headaches started last week, but haven't noticed much for gains until just yesterday... I'm starting to look harder and more defined, and I'm sweating like a mofo when I do my morning cardio and for a few hours afterwards. Fat loss isn't really visible yet... I think I'm gonna heed y'all's advice and go lower on the carbs... say for only 3 meals a day... 1 post morning cardio, and 2 post workout. I'll keep y'all updated!

I do pretty much what Magnusson adviced and it works for me. Cutting carbs past 100-150g /day is too low for me, its just not enough energy and it makes me feel crazy which envietably ends in a binge out on sweets. Try lowering overall cals by 500-1000g/day do your cardio routinely and try adding in some interval or spinting type cardio and let the fina do its thing and voila, you'll get leaner.

I quit screwing with being anal about counting carbs and protein and just starting staying more active and the fat stays off very easily with or without gear.
