Hey there. I'm new here and had some questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I started lifting a couple weeks ago and have some questions on supplements. Here is the list of supp. I have right now: MRI Black Powder, Muscle Milk, Body Fortress Advanced Whey, and Body Fortress Advanced Creatine. That is what I have a here is what I use: Black Powder before my workout and the whey after. I do not even use the creatine or muscle milk. I have found the muscle milk gives me headaches for some reason.

I am not looking to get into bodybuilder shape but def want to get bigger but not huge. Am I taking my supplements correctly? What suggestions would you make for me without breaking my wallet? I was thinking about this. Getting Hydroxycut Hardcore to take with the Black powder before the workout and the getting an L-glutamine to take with whey after the workout. Whey doesn't help repair muscles does it? Because if it does it's not working. What are your thoughts on what I should do. Thanks!!!

hello and welcome. it looks as though you're wasting time and money with all these supplements. you need to get AS MUCH of your nutrients from real food as possible. when starting out trying to build muscle, the only supps you will need (if any) is a quality whey protein, and a bit of good old fashioned creatine can only help, if your trying to gain mass.
heres the equation for starting out building muscle- eat big+lift big+plenty of sleep = muscle. not hugely scientific lololol, but it works.

If you eat properly, then that is all you need. Aside from that, you just need to know how to eat and you need to get enough sleep at nights. I know when someone says "the key is eating" sounds very typical, but it keeps getting repeated for a very good reason rather than get gimmicky with these catchy looking supplements.

you know what i mean though, the kid has just come here to ask a genuine question and learn a bit, and this guy is ripping his spelling, we all knew what he meant, so whats the problem? fuck me its not like anyone can say they have never made a spelling error, is it?

Eat hard, train hard, sleep hard.

Whey helps repair muscle, but steak and chicken are better.

Any more questions?

I know you are loking for specific answers, but you didn't ask specific questions.

"What should I do?" is a general question.

First, tell us what you are eating, how you are lifting weights (what and how much, how often, weight of excercises don't matter, you know what you can lift)
