Starting Steroids when your not up to genetic potential

i believe in training to ur natural potential if u just do it for a hobby but if u wanna compete and really go somewhere with bodybuilder u have to juice and start young alotta pros i hear started when they were like freakin 13 yrs old crazy...i know some kid who actually did it in middle school his sisters boyfriend was givin it to him lol but hes really short now and his father and mother are way taller so u can tell it definitely stunted his growth he never had a medical problem or anything though hes like 22 now...and no im not telling anyone or saying its ok to start young im just sharing stories that i know

only reason i see in getting a "foundation" is to get your body used to holding mass naturally, and prove to yourself you have the drive and dicipline to stay in the BB game.

when it comes down to it, muscle mass is muscle mass, doesnt matter how you got it, its still there, you still have to eat and train to maintain it.

correct.

f that bullshit about "you have to max out naturally". i guarantee 90% of people on this board didn't.

the main thing is having the discipline, knowledge and work ethic CONSISTENTLY.

do you need a base/foundation? absolutely. Because if you juice and are not training right you can expose yourself to major muscle assymetry and a "weird" looking body.

I agree that is def one reason, but not the only one. The other is to develope the connective tissue strength to prevent medical issues when you get older. By not developing your tendon and ligament strength, which takes longer than muscle strength, you can develope issues like tendonitis, athritis, etc, at an earlier age.

the difference between training to near potential and then cycling as opposed to cycling early is the person who is more developed naturally will carry more muscle off gear and look better. denser muscle, better balance.

but at the same time prolonged AAS usage will overly develop the muscle at an unhealthy rate anyway. so while it helps to have that base, your not saving yourself from the potential connectivity issues
