I'm going to prompt this by saying, I know i'm in the early stages of a very, very long journey to the body that i'm happy with. I'm def intersted in a valid help on what to concentrate on other than just, "get bigger". Bench=185x1, squat= 165x1,deadlfit=185x3(can't hold on the bar)
5'8 165lbs 14%bf 24 yrs old, been lifting forever but only seriously since last december.

Second link is broken for me. Stick around here. Read ask questions and eat! You'll be happy w/ your progress...

Having started my journey about 15 years ago (on and off) at a height of 6 foot 5 and a weight of 140lbs I have tried everything to add more than 100lbs to my frame and I am still continuing my journey looking for perfection. One thing I can tell you is perfection will never be found but you can come very close to it.

Don't be fooled, don't go for lifting heavy thinking the more you life or the heavier you lift the better it is for your body and ego. Learn to really isolate the muscles and make the muscles you are training work rather than trying to use 10 other supporting muscles. You do not need heavy weight to get big. It's progressive.

Don't neglect your diet and make sure you consume a good healthy diet with high protein.

For the first 6mths if you have not been working out seriously already train the big muscles with the big exercises:

Squats
Bench
Lateral pull down/raises
Military Press

(form over weight everytime and make sure you warm up).

I could type a book but I am sure others will chime in.

Good luck!

No flames bro, we all started somewhere. Slin gives great advice, diet is key to everything you're looking for. I'm giving you a free week to do research.

You have done some cycles???? Maybe i misunderstood. You are waaaaayyyyyy too underdeveloped to be cycling. Not a flame, but your diet is not on point and you seriously lack muscle maturity and you should not even think about doing a cycle until you get your workouts/diet worked out. Do you have a small case of gyno? looks like some small lumps under the nips.

I didnt get the impression that you were starting gear tomorrow. I hope I read that right. I mean this sincerly, IF your training is even decent, you should be bigger. You should be taking in more calories than 3500. Bump the cals and focus on delts, chest, arms, I mean NO offense bro, you had the nuts to post up pics and ask for advice, that is a lot in and of itself. What exactly are you looking to do ? Bigger chest ? Arms ? Thick muscular look or shredded up look ? at 5 8 you look about a buck 40 no kidding. Full body shot would be good. Im 510 and in pictures bros say I look 180 or so and I am 205 or so, so maybe the camera takes away 20 lbs. lol...

You CAN gain lots of muscle at your age. You have to force feed yourself more cals and workout harder than you are. Do you have a workout partner ? Post up your exercise schedule with reps/weight etc..

I know a lot of hard gainers and there are bros here who are, who have gained a lot of muscle but not without hard work.

Good luck with your goals, give us as much info as you can, bros here respond A LOT more and help A LOT more if you put the whole package up. There are bros on here that will def help you get to your goal, we need to know what that goal is though.

ps, get some wrist straps :)
