stairs for GPP?

makedah

New member
After helping my friend take boxes up to her 4th-floor apartment, I thought that this might be a good idea for GPP for a broke apartment-dweller like myself: Find some stairs (like at school), cradle something heavy and go for it.

Does anyone do stairs for GPP? Whether you do or not - any thoughts about it?

no........ but i do sprint uphill backwards and forwards..... i cant stand sprinting on a straight plane. this way i get to increase gpp and do something that doesnt kill me. or you can always do vehicle pushes for sprints. those work very well.

I'm quite interested in car pushes, but I'm not sure I'm strong enough for it yet. When I'm ready to try it, I'll have to get someone to watch me the first couple of times. My neighborhood is full of slight inclines that you can't really tell are there unless you are rolling (car or bike) and I really don't want to be crushed by my own car! :)

find like a church or school parking lot. but yes you are strong enough to push the car. my wife and my sister inlaw (trinity73 and puttinbuttin) were able to push a suburban and silverado withing just 10 weeks of training wsb.......... and they werent former athletes or had been working out any other way before. it was from nothing to that.

Do Trinity and puttinbuttin post here? If not, please keep us posted about their progress.

I'd done some light lifting and recreational running before WSB and I wasn't an athlete before (cheerleader in H.S., that's it). It seems that so many people here are life-long athletes, so I'd be very interested in reading about how those ladies are coming along.
