Fellas,

how much and what is the difference between your front squat and behind the head squat ? (if you do both)

my numbers front squat 550 lbs x 6
squat 625 x 5 or 6

and do you find them equally as difficult ?
 
i can definately back squat more than i can front squat. i've got trouble holding that much weight on me clavicles. oucher.

you... full squat 625?
 
625 for reps :eek2: ATF?

my front squat sucks...i love doing them though. Anyone have ideas on how to cushion the bar on the shoulders without compromising the safety of the exercise??
 
Haven't really gone heavy on front squat in a long time. Back when I did, I think the most I ever got was 365x5, and my back squat max was around 500 at the time.

One focuses on quads, the other does not.
 
Some of you guys use some rediculous weight....

aerowana-Front squat hit quads very well, but still places stress on glutes and hamstrings. BAck squats stress the whole leg but with more emphasis on hams and glutes.
