squats

hi guys, gotta toot my own horn. on friday i got a 4 plate squat @ 135lbs. for a single and then dropped to 3 plates for reps. looks like i'm putting the bb on the back burner for next season, my lifts are too good. do any of you no any santioned pl contests coming up for western canada? or even western north america. preferably no drug testing.:)

.....and just so you know, my ass almost hit the floor (giggles)

Did you have 4 plates on each side? Anyways awesome job. Im not to sure of what orginazation is up there but I do think that APF goes there once in awhile im not sure. But there are alot up north.

uh, yeah what did you think i did? 2 plates each side, shit i warm up with that!!!!!!!:)

well, what do you think? i always wrap my knees, very bad right knee, ripped the cartilage about 10 years ago...and a belt of course:)
 
bruce greig puts on really, really good meets. they are held in lethbridge, red deer, and calgary.

i just did one 5 weeks ago and it was awesome. i think he is planning on another one in january or february.

the calibre of lifters there is outstanding as well.

POD-congratulations!!! that is an awesome lift. Do you plan on getting a suit, that should really help your numbers go up.

how far do you go down on partials? be careful , cause they can put a lot of stress on yourb knees.. dont wanna screw em up before you make your big debut in the PLing world.


and about the squat suit,.. better hope you get it soon.. or else im gonna catch up..

im aiming for a 360 on my 3rd attempt at my comp if my first 2 attempts go well.

about 3\4 partials....start at that position so i have to drive it out....and go back down with it and no i don't drop into it......keep my knees wrapped tight they are my weak point...........:)
