Squats

today was leg day, and with squats, I was able to go heavier than usual at parallel. I think doing goodmornings improved my form, and since my lower back is my weakness, solved that problem. since this discovery, I have been doing supplemental exercises for the big lifts. I think I have changed my routines to a powerlifting apporoach, so to speak. building the may lifting limits by performing exercises that help out each individual muscle, as opposed to attempting to max out on the big lifts themselves.

The Goodmorning works great for squats and deads. Think about it. Most of the time when someone gets stuck with a squat, they end up too far fwd with the weight and can't recover. They get stuck leaning fwd and their back is not used to holding that kind of weight in that position. If they had a strong goodmorning...they could safely push through it and possibly even get the rep.

nice pic. but that is a Russian Deadlift. Good Mornings involve rounding the back to bring the bar as low as possible.
