can i get a no bullshit spyware remover? i have this stupid ass 'i search' toolbar on my computer, and it is REALLY pissing me off. i have this 'spy sweeper' and it works fine, BUT GUESS WHAT, it wants me to subscribe to update it. F**k that.


spammers and people to who install adware on to your computer can go to hell.

i use spybot search and destroy, seems to work pretty well. it's also free

have you tried 'view'........'toolbars'..........then remove anything suspicious?

Could not get it work on my laptop with ME (HATE ME!) - it always crashed.

I use a mac with jaquar as a browser, have no idea what these "pop-ups" are that you speak of.

i clicked 'view' then 'toolbars'

everything is locked, and i see the 'i search' crap on there.

i have run 3 different spy searchers, and they can't get rid of this toolbar.


any help?

Use Add/Remove programs from the Control Panel

ad-aware is the way to go. Some of the new spyware removers actually remove spyware but replace it with their own.

If all else fails use google and do a search of the specific issue, ie "I search toolbar", and you'll probaly find a fix....
