Sprints And Bulking

Is there a point to doing sprints while bulking? I want to continue bulking, but I feel I added some bodyfat I would like to keep minimized for now. Would sprinting, even while bulking and eating excess calories, cause the fat to shed off while allowing me to still make gains in muscle size and strength?

From all that I have read, the answer to this question is yes.

I try to do either sprints or truck pushes on two of the three days a week that I don't work out. I haven't been very good about it lately, but they work really well.

the important question is, do you eat more on the days you sprint? eat the same? up the protein, lower the carbs?
 
I just try to eat less carbs and more fats on the days that I don't train. Those happen to be the same days that I sprint/do truck pushes on.

However, I'm no expert.

You got me ;) If you're doing the Hawaiian ironman or one of those Eco challenges, then not necessarily, though you still could be beaten in a sprint to the line...
 
I'm bulking, and I have a hard time gaining weight, so I'm only sprinting 1 day/week. I also do a little core work on that day, so I treat it as a training day. I cycle my carbs and kcals, eating more on training days, so my kcals/carbs on my sprint day are the same as on a lifting day.

My sprints are pretty intense though - I've been sprinting for a while, and usually do 5x100 meter and 10x50 meter sprints.
