they say its 10 bucks extra to do a family add on... so the package was 75 dollars.. you do the math... 85? right? WRONG

they neglect to tell you its a 35 dollar activation cost.. which i can dig... but, its also 10 dollars PER PHONE on the account, so that makes it 20 dollars per month over the 75.... PLUS an additional 10 dollars for the family deal...

so uh, its actually not 10 dollars for the family thing, its 10 dollars per phone PLUS 10 dollars... so 30 over the original deal..

here is the kicker... that plan gives you 1000 anytime and 3000 nights and weekends...

for 50 dollars per month, you get 500 anytime and 2000 nights and weekends... so in actuallity you get MORE minutes for LESS MONEY if you do 2 seperate accounts... instead of the one combo...

Me and my hubby accidently made a payment of 116. on the same day - almost same time...we both knew bill was due, but we never discussed WHO would pay it..so we both did...well I called about an hour later - they said they would gladly refund my account in 5-7 business days....well guess what?? NO REFUND - its been almost a month and 1/2...Ive tried to call - Ive sat on the phone for almost an hour..transferred from one idiot to another....

I rank Sprint PCS as the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet. When I ordered my service, the morons set me up two accounts and sent me two phones. It took for fuckingever to rectify it. I sent the phone back, they finally credited me with the overcharge....and then charged me something like $200 for early termination of an account they erroneously set up!!!! You can imagine how long that took to clear up.

And that's not even addressing the subject of the day-to-day lousy service.

when i transfered to the family plan, they charged me $150, for cancelling out of my original plan. after a lengthy conversation, this was taken off. but i am still fighting because i was also charged a full month for the family plan and the original individual plan. so for one month, my bill was: $75 family plan, $30 for 3 phones, $150 cancel fee, $39, individual plan and taxes. and i am trying to see if the taxes on the $150, was also taken off. half my calls are dropped. sucks but what can ya do.

and don't you love talking to their customer service reps, who would be sorting rocks from dried beans if they didn't have this job. I mean, why don't they just say: "This math problem is too complex, so I'm going to hang up on you. CLICK."

oh man, that reminds me... one time i was overdue and got shut off... well i called to find out what happened since i was supposed to get the notice on my phone that i was coming up on the 125.00 credit limit...

the guy tells me "we waved your credit limit (wihtout telling me though) cuz you are such a good customer"... i thought for a second and was like... hey, i get disconnected ever fucking month, this guy is a smart ass... i was pissed and laughing... uh ok then.

I fucking HATE sprint. I have a 34.99/month plan. I swear to god every fucking month i get that stupid fucking page that says, "you have reached 80% of your spending limit."

They FUCK you. My 1 year is up in a month and i'm going to mail the phone back to them packed in a pile of my feces. Fuckers.

My buddy works for Sprint selling their phones. When we are hanging out together he is all the time borrowing my Cingular phone cause he can't get a signal.

Cingular sucks too though. They had all kinds of extras when I signed up, but the keep changing them to pay options as time goes on.

Tried all the other carriers in South Florida--Sprint was not clear and connected
only about 30% of the time. ($200 Motorola timeport)
I try to give the phone (and contract) to a friend he said it hardly ever worked,
doesn't want it.
Sprint reps kepts "ckecking the phones software" and I started resorting to
manually switching to analog to try to be connected more.
Finally I gave up and messed my criedit by not paying the $150 early cancel fee to spite them

Basically a worthless service in my area with that phone.
Stick with the big three: At+t, Nextel, Cingular.

Some of Sprint's customer service reps are about as bright as the little light that comes on when you open the referigerator. When I switched to VoiceStream, it took me three tries to get them to turn the damn thing off...they kept asking me "are you sure you don't just want to have two cell phones?" I only have one for work (which I guess is a comment on my social life, but let's not go there), and explained to them that I have to have international roaming for work, which only VoiceStream and Nextel offer (at least among companies in my area.) They'd then try to talk me into a different plan AGAIN.

VoiceStream isn't much better - I signed up for automatic billing and a month later got a blizzard of late notices. Called them - it can take them up to 6 weeks to set up credit card billing. If Elite Fitness can do it with a one-minute drill on the Internet, why does it take a division of a huge multinational corporation SIX WEEKS?
