Sprint Nationwide Broadband rawks

For $59/mth i got a sprint wireless nationwide card.

Speed is f'n amazing! just like cable or dsl - but i can take it ANYWHERE. Surf on the train, bus, hotel, friends house, car, you name it.

really cool. i so see options now for rural folks and 3rd world countries. Technology can be amazing.

in fact i'm posting from my laptop in a diner right now.

I pay $19.95/month for cable TV and broadband.....it was supposed to be a six month deal and was not suppossed to include cable TV but it has been 2 years now.

I spent over an hour with them today:

They charged me .35/minute when I was out of their high speed zone.....for 26.5K speed (molasses).

They declined to pay the rebate of $30 which was supposed to be $50 per the sales rep. Said there was no packing slip when there was a packing slip.

Are charging me $200 since I did'nt go a year. In spite of the fact that it doesn't really have service where the sales rep said it would...my home.

Would not give me the phone number of the legal department.

Sprint sucks.

Oh yeah the cable company fucks up all the time. You got a great deal going there.

I cancelled digital cable and had them switch it to basic ($12) a month. They came out, fucked something up and gave me expanded basic ($35) a month but charge me the $12. Not complaining.
