Does anybody get this - if so how do you prevent it?

My lower back is covered in them n i want to get rid but dont want to stop the steroids.

Any help?

Your lower back?? Interesting. Anyway, Vitamin B5 (aka Pantothenic Acid) will help w/ acne -- it comes in most B Complex vitamins, but to have it make a difference you need to get it by itself & take it in doses like 3-4 x the 1 tab / day. You should see a difference in a day or two if what you are dealign w/ is actually acne. I don't know what else it would be other than acne, but just on the off chance it might be some sort of rash or allergic reaction -- the B5 does work nicely for acne tho.

Also in general, keeping your skin washed regularly, tanning booth helps to dry out acne, etc.

A friend of mine also gets it on the lower back and upper arms...anyway I suggested that he try using Nutrogena "Deep Clean Cream Cleanser" on a daily basis...It may dry out your skin but it is some pretty amazing stuff as far as removing oil from pores.

When I use it ocasionally on my back...I use a Poof on a stick...You can get them in the section of most any wholesale outlet that sells female body washes ect. It is about 18" long and it works great for the back since I can't reach most of it anymore.

Thanks guys.

I will get on the Vit B straight away.

I also get them on my shoulders but its not so bad there.

Thanks again

Sassy, I've read that the B5 doesn't work for a few months..... Is this true? You say you'll see results in a few days? I didn't order the stuff cause I don't wanna wait a few mths to see results..... Any feedback?

I think frontload accutane at 40 mg per week for 2-3 weeks, then back it off uintil u reach 20mg per week.

Works perfectly for me, and I used to have extremely oily skin even before aas.
