Spot Shooting...How to?

I want to spot shoot my biceps today. I don't want to hurt myself so can somebody just give me a quick walk through on how to do it. I heard that you are suppose to hit where the highest point of your peak is when your flexing. But that could be wrong so that's why I am asking. Thanks in advance for your help and have a good and safe holiday.
 
JG1 posted a good link.

I just flex the bi, find the peak, then relax my arm, and stick the needle into where the peak was. I personally keep my arm bent, but relaxed with my palm facing down. MAKE SURE TO ASPIRATE.

I don't slam the needle in, like I would glutes. I take it nice and SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW.
 
Thanks JG and BBV. That's pretty much what I was told. How about triceps. Long, Medial, or lateral head? I really have no Idea. Do I do it just like the picture you showed me JG? Any help on tricep injection is good too since I will proably do them on wed.
 
Same basic rule on tri's. I hit long, and lateral. Flex it up... and find your spot. Long head, I suggest hitting the beefiest part of the muscle. I sometimes mark the spot by pressing the pin cap against the point of my arm I want to inject. Leaves a small circle. Alcohol yourself down, relax that muscle, and shoot. Tri's are FAR easier to me than bi's.
