Spinning for losing fat.............

New member
Does anyone do spinning for losing fat in their lower half or is running/sprinting the best? Running is hard on my knees......

FAT

Not taking an attitude, but I know we say this ALL the time. You take chicken, and green beans, and Udos to lose fat...not spinning.

I mean Spinning classes(cycling, stationary bike). I understand that diet is 90% of the fat loss plan but I'm asking for a cardio workout that would help lean down from hips down. Sometimes sprints hurt my knees...

lol.. thanks for the clarification!

Ya I did stationary bike as my main cardio before.. I still prefer it but no longer have access to one but I do have a treadmill so I do long walks and/or sprints on the treadmill for cardio.

you must of thought I was crazy, spinning in circles, ha ha........... have you heard of group cycling classes offered at most health clubs???

well, there was that one commercial where people in a cycling class had an evil instructor, so there must be some somewhere

its a great workout and yes some instructors have no mercy!!Can you guys/girls post your cutting diet?? Do you change your training workout while training, what I've read only the diet changes...............

I went and did a spin class for kicks. I do alot of cycling, and since the class was full of women I figured it would be a joke. I couldn't have been more wrong; the instructor worked us hard. Its not like stationary cylcing because they try and simulate biking. Lots of riding out of the seat with high resistance, and lots of sprints. If you can keep up with the instructor you will get a great cardio workout, which will help you lose fat. However, like you said, diet is still key.

Do you mean while cutting? yes training changes, but as mentioned before "diet" will make your changes more noticeable. Post your diet.
