Not just mentioning purchasing all the ornaments now on sale...
I did buy the Canon Digital cam and memory ($1200) for a gift. Then I felt bad enough because the money wasn't spent on myself.
I went to CompUSA to get some blank DVDs to burn my movies on and ended up buying a 30inch flat HDTV that was on sale for $499. Why? Because it was ON SALE!!! It is just sitting in here being used as a computer monitor now until I start work in the bathroom and install it there.
Then there was new Shox, liquor being replenished, new HDTV satellite and Tivo for the new tv, etc...
I am in Rebate Hell right now. I will probably get about 75% of all the money back but damn these rebates are tedious to fill out.
