Speed Delts/tris 9/18

Damn Playa, to be big Playa you gotta think big Playa!!!! Had another good day, Weighed in at 201 today with lower BF than usual. Legs are fryed though so pushpress was hard... but O'well if it was easy everyone would do it

Pushpress 95x8, 115x8, 135x6, 165 4x5 2 reps didn't count on the last set cause the bar didn't make a clanking sound, That is how I know the bar is moving fast enough, I basically have to catch it at the top and it makes noise ;)

Powersnatches 115 5x3, easy the weight was flying up to full extension, No dip needed but rear delts took a beating

Plate Tosses 10lbs 3x10 toss straight up with arms locked and caught on way down and brought right back up as fast as possible, tougher than it seems

Close-grip bench for speed 225 2x8, then 135x10

Reverse bench for tris 135 2x8 these were rough

Explosive close-grip pushups 2x5, about 6 inch clearance from ground

Reverse grip pushdown 50 3x10

Went for a swim and did some water running, Good day working on speed, form is improving and so is flexability

I did hang snatches yesterday. They're great for the rear delts. I think they'll help improve my OHP a lot.

Yeah Playa they are great for rear delts and help me handle weight above my head.

how did you like the reverse grip bench........... harder than you thought??? how wide did you do them???

They were real hard casue I tryed to kep the bar in a straight line and use only tris, a little less than shoulder width. Felt good though.

suprisingly my delts and tris are not that bad today, gotta love pool work
 
i have to go wider when using a rev grip. the closest i go is my pinky touching the ring. anything further would be illegal in competition, so thats also as wide as i go.....lol

i have very unflexible shoulders.
