I disagree to that post and the one before it too.
I bought xpresspost envelopes for the reason they have tracking numbers and one of the envelopes I bought had a bunk number. It was still able to be delivered tho but I couldn't track it. Canadapost webpage kept saying "wait one business day..." even a week later, and also again after the person on the other end got the envelope.
only if I had a scanner... bah it's not really worth it.

CanadaPost tracking is absolutely terrible. Where Fed-Ex or UPS will scan EVERY TIME a package changes hands and the website tracking is updated in realtime, CanadaPost simply scans one or twice and you can verify the updates 24-48 hours after.
All international shipping to the US is still very unreliable due to Sept 11. I hate to say it again but those terrorists fucked shit up!
