i have a friend whose gf cannot find work in the US - she is canadian. she only has her high school... can anyone give her work? apparently it has to be proven that the american employer has searched for 30 days for an american to do the job and that is where she is stuck...

any help is appreciated.

theres a "college " there. .... can she do some international student thingee ?

dont know much about the job market there

why would a person go there of all places... ?

her bf works for an oil company there.

i'll see if she's interested in college... i don't know what their funds are like though.

o damn
that college used to be just a "junior" cfollege, but now i think it is actually a 4-year full out college branch of university of texas (in tyler)
http://www.uttyler.edu/

very cheap, not a *great* place to go out of texas colleges, but better than nothing since its now a "real" college.

i think pretty much anytone can be accepted there and get full financial aid, as it doesnt cost much in the first place.

Tyler has TJC (Tyler Junior College) and UT Tyler (University of Texas tyler)

That town sucks major donkey dick...I hate going up there to visit my grandparents...They are surrounded by food stamp wasting, Caddy parking on their no grass front yard, no concept of trash can, pieces of shit....Oh I forgot to mention they live by John Tyler Highschool...for those of yall who know of the town, you know what I'm talking about

My grandparents refuse to move out of their home of the past 50yrs since 98 % of the decent people moved out. I think my Grandfather thinks that he's still the Union Pres of the Kelly Springfield tire factory there....Or that his Dem Buddies are going to help out to revitalize his area, now that the Poor pieces of shit have killed off what little was left of the property value

If she's going to live in Tyler Tell her to live on the East side of Town....Chances are she won't have to wake up at 7am to the sounds of a caddy bouncing with it's hydraulics in the front yard accross from their home or apt.

As Far as jobs....Good luck...Those are hard to come by...What skills does she have? The Hospital and Zoo are always hiring...The Zoo is the nicest Private zoo I've ever seen as well...AOL I think has a Call Center in Tyler or in Longview

She can thank all the damn Unions in that town for her inability to find a job....I take it she isn't a drinker or has she complained about having to drive to another county since Southern Baptist have made it a dry county
