Sore ??

Today is 6 days after working bi's. Question is this... Im normally not still this damn sore while on cycle and its time to hit the arms again. Would you go ahead and blow them out again or skip and hit another body part. My arm workout consisted of 10 sets of 10 just to shock the muscle from its normal routine and looks like it worked. Hit them or not ?

I'm going through the same thing and out of nowhere. Everything is shook. I have been throwing up huge weights and I just think my skeleton/lower back is just not used to it. 6 days is a long time for bis though. You should be sore....I'd hit them but feel your way throuh the workout. Common sense says if you get pain then stop. Are you stretching?

you should be able to know the difference between pains. muscle soreness from workout shouldnt last that long, injury could have occured or some tendonitiis may have occured. where exactly is the pain??

soreness is muscle pain. the soreness is in the brachioraialus in the faorearms and outer head of the bicep. thought i was gonna have to nail the toothbrush to the wall and just move my head. feeiling better as the day goes by today. def gonna hit them tonight..

you most likely have delayed muscle onset soreness or D.O.M.S which
occurs hours after the exercise is over.this is much different than the acute pain of a pulled or strained muscle.a muscle tear,is felt as an abrupt, sudden, acute pain that occurs during activity, that is often accompanied by swelling or bruises.

D.O.M.S is normal bro, especially with hardcore training it's a result of microscopic tearing of the muscle fibers. The amount of tearing (and soreness) depends on how hard and how long you exercise and what type of exercise you do.activities that require muscles to forcefully contract while they are lengthening,(eccentric contractions),seem to cause the most soreness.you use eccentric contractions when you descend stairs, run downhill, lower a weight,or perform the downward motion of squats and push-ups.in addition to muscle tearing, swelling can occur in and around a muscle, which can also cause soreness hours later.

Bro, never work a muscle out when it is still sore. And to barrel, no disrespect but you are wrong about soreness not lasting 6 days. My quads have been sore for up to 8 or 9 days after a real heavy hard squat session. I was not on at the time though.

ill agree with you there but quads are a lot bigger muscle group than bis and if you werent on then your recoup time doesnt compare either.
