somethings wrong with my internet explorer!!

whenever I open a new window, it doesnt show up except for in the taskbar at the bottom. The only way I can see it is if I right click it in the taskbar and go to maximize...but if I try "restore" the window, it disappears again. This is soooo fucking annoying!!

reboot ... as this will solve most minor problems .... if it doesnt - control panel - ... - add remove programs - ... - internet explorer - ... - repair program -

restarting didnt work...and I didnt have a XP cd so I coudlnt reinstall it..but I fixed it by restoring my system to 1 day ago.
