Something that Helped My MArriage over the Weekend

As some of you know my marriage has been kind of rocky the last couple of months. Well, we had a good day saturday riding in a 9/11 motorcycle parade and rally. Then Sunday we heard a sermon that really hit home home on how your body is the Lord's temple. And then last night we watched home videos. Of when we brought our second daughter home from the hospital. My oldest daughter (6 at the tiime) was quite the comedian walking by wife being pushed in the wheel chair. She said mom are you tired from all that work pushing my sisiter out of your stomach then she panting impressions on my wife in labor. It was so funny.

Anyway I guess it showed the good times we had and made us realize we could have them again if we worked at it. Heck, this morning she even made me breakfast(I can't even remember the last time she made breakfast). Anyway I thought I would share this idea with other members that posted on the divorce thread to see if it might help ya'll too.

It's cheaper to keep her.

j/k Sometimes a little retrospect is just what the doctor ordered. Best of luck to you both.

You're lucky in that your wife is willing to work on things, just make sure you put forth the effort too.

there is always an "ebb and flow" to all relationships....what happens is, during an "ebb", we sometimes panic....and from the panic, our perceptions get clouded....stay in your marraige, your not missing a thing out here.....

Yea, I did too. I cleaned out that d something earth filter for the pool over the weekend what a nasty ass job but she was happy.

Good for you curling

Best of luck to you both

Sometimes you DO know what you've got before it's gone.

Sounds like you have a good one that is worth your efforts to make it work. MAybe do something you havent done for her in a while, pick her up some flowers on the way home from work, or even a simple card letting her know how much you love her.

is your bike riding causing problems?

No. Put it this way it(the bike riding) probably helped our marriage through those bad times. Because when that woman would get on my nerves I could hop on that bike and escape.

I'm very happy to hear things are going a bit better for you. Just understand that it will take a lot of work on both your parts to repair your relationship and even after you think trouble is behind you don't forget what can happen and keep working to improve your relationship.
