I have gotten some negative feedback from people saying I was to harsh or mean to BBF in his thread today.

I will speak the same candid way to my best friends if its something I believe in so don't feel I am singeling anyone out.

I will not sugar coat things, you can either like me or not but at least respect the fact that I am true to what I believe. If asked something, I will give my honesty response not one i think they wanna hear.

I am not always right but have no fear expressing my opinion.

No need to sugar-coat things. You said what you thought. That is good. BBF has every right to say exactly what he thinks. That is the beauty of a forum. You get to give your views on things.

If I can take this out of context, and have this quote directed at any man who is screwing around not just BBF, it is right on the money.

When I was screwing around, I wasn't the man that I am now and I don't ever want to be like that again.

If I could go back in time and meet myself at age 20, I'd give myself a serious asskicking.

I definitely can't accept the truth. Frankly I prefer it when people lie to me. In most cases I actually insist on not being told the truth.

Oh sure, when I was younger, I had naive ideals about always wanting to know and speak the truth. But hello, welcome real world.

Probably the first time I realized that the truth wasn't all it was advertised to be happened when I was 9yr's old. I was talking to my parents and had asked if they loved me. My dad responded "not particularly, although we've grown somewhat fond of you over the last 9 years. Or perhaps its just that we feel sorry for you. We aren't entirely sure. Certainly it isn't anything like what we feel for your other brothers and sisters."

My disenchantment with "truth" continued to grow later in life, especially after I started dating. After what I imagined to be an especially adept performance by me in the sack I would ask the girl "tell me the truth, who was the best lover you ever had." Suffice it to say that I never once broke the top 10. Some girls were even more 'truthful" than others and felt compelled to list the reasons why they graded my performance so low. . For the record, size, along with body odor,rhythm,stamina, profuse sweating, and a ridiculously high pitched "whistle" like sound when you cum, does matter.

So I suppose what i'm trying to say is that "truth" is way overrated, and that lying is often better. I mean, how many girls would even consider dating me if I was "honest" about my intent to try and sleep with not only their best friends, but their sisters and any other attractive female memebers of their families as well. Hellloooo!!

In short Dawg, if that's honestly your real name, your policy sucks.

this is a worrying paragraph, Jersey. youre saying youd rather live a lie than adapt to the real world.

if you intend or have a very strong desire to have sex with all of these females who have an intimate relationship with your partner, you should really ask yourself what the hell youre doing in that relationship. to embrace the thought of doing something like that to your partners family etc is...vile. is something as fickle as sex really worth compromising your relationship to you?

We have created a society where all anyone does is attempt to comfort and console others by lying to them and hiding it all underneath the veil of "being nice". The nicest thing any of us can do is to tell someone the truth. It is their choice to believe it and realize it, and if they do, then they will truly be able to better themselves.
