Something I've noticed with new diet trends

I have seen a lot of mention, of course, of adding omega 3's to your diet. Many of these diets, such as on my local news I just watched, say to add tuna to your diet. Now if I'm not mistaken, Tuna has almost a non-existant supply of omega 3's. Am I?

There is some characteristic of fish who are high in omega 3's but I can't recall.
 
they have fat in theM? Most canned tuna is super low fat. they need to be recommending wild caught salmon, but who gives a turd, mixed in with all the mcd's it wont make a difference.
 
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I was pretty sure Tuna has like no significant source of omega 3's, yet diets on tv are saying "add tuna for omega 3's" and shit like that, but they are dead wrong. I would think they know that.
 
I didn't think that EFA's are synonymous with higher fat fish. Being that I don't know of any high fat fish.
 
If I remember correctly, my tuna didn't even have more than a gram of fat. Meh, these are the same people telling you to take 65% of your energy from carbs and 10-15% from protein (not good for the general public).

That's a perfectly healthy diet for non-fat fucks.
 
Let's face facts, if you are a fat fuck diets are crap! Otherwise diets rule!

sardines have a lot of omega 3's, there is a decent bit of fat in them. I've eaten them before on a dare, its really not that bad til you chew up the spine.
 
I know the diet trends on tv are bad. It's not like I'm taking down notes from Jared, I just noticed this last night and thought this further proved how ignorant most people are.
