something i've been laughing at all day

i stopped at 7-11 on my way to work to get my normal gallon of coffee and there was a tall older gentleman getting coffee at the counter. he was dressed well in khaki shorts and an izod shirt, white hair. This is a busy place and it was 9am.
i noticed the woman across from me looking at him kinda confused so i glanced at him and saw that he had a little girls hair clip attached to his hair with red bow on it.
i looked away and tried not to laugh and wondered why would this nice looking old man have that in his hair?? he didn't look insane and i couldn't imagine any purpose to it.
the whole place is kinda looking at him and smiling and he's looking back and smiling back and saying "well good morning!"
People are looking away quickly, probably wondering the same as me.
i paid and left and then it dawned on me what probably happened cause my own daughter used to do the same thing when she was little.
Anyone with a little girl can figure out that this man was most likely playing with his granddaughter before he left and she put a bow in grandpas hair and he never knew.
i wish i could have been there when he saw himself in the mirror.
(and yes, i would have told him if i figured it out sooner).

lol I went to the bank once with a face FULL of animal stickers and stuff like that. From my chin, cheeks forehead... lol then i went to the 10 minute oil change place right after that. I found out later why everyone was looking at me funny.

Luckily my daughter was with me at both places that day, so it was evident where they came from.

no way.

white haired old man from an extremely upscale neighborhood.
i guess he coulda been a killer, but the little red bow in his hair just made that hard to believe.
