Something I realized about all the relationship questions

Every situtation/person is different....so no one can really give you the answer you are looking for. Something happened with this new chic Ive been talking to lately the other day and was going to post a question about it.....but no one can answer relationship questions because relationships are so dam complicated.

That really is true. I do like feedback from people but really just follow my heart and it works out pretty well.

I wish I could just ask someone though.

I've been known to call my older sister and say, "Can you please be the boss of me? I don't know what to do!"

^^ Sounds overly simplified but it really does cut to the heart of the matter. If one removes all the other extraneous bullshit lying they do to themselves in order to continue a relationship that REALLY IS NOT good for them then it becomes pretty clear what the next course of action is.

Things become complicated when we lie to ourselves in order to get what we want. Kinda silly but you know damned well we are all guilty of it.

It's often useful to get another perspective, as long as they aren't flat out dictating how you should live your life. Often people have been through similar things and can give empathetic insight as a result of their own experiences. Sure, nothing is ever exactly the same, but that's why they are able to shed new light on it by approaching a similar situation from a different light.

This is correct, but often talking about it with other people helps you find your own answer, or gives you conviction in that "gut feeling."
