someone please explain fat to me

i have asked people many times why its so bad to eat foods like double bacon cheeseburgers while bulking. if a person is not concerned at all with anything except for the most muscle growth possible, then does the body know whether 50g of protein comes from a burger or a chicken breast?

In the double bacon cheeseburger there is more concern with the high contents of fat and carbs. Both when combined could lead to fat gains. Fat gain doesnt equal to muscle gain, obviously, so why not get the protein from better choices. If you were gonna eat it, be sure its lean meat if your going to use cheese, and also nix the buns.
 
The thing is all that fat is saturated fat which you want to keep an eye on.

If you aren't concerned with fat gain then I wouldn't worry about a burger here or there when bulking.

As far as protein, no your body doesn't know if it comes from a burger or chicken breast. If ya love burgs so much make your own with 96% lean beef :)
