Someone explain the "I don't give a damn about my body" mentality...

Talontracer- though is sounds really mean, I do hear what you are saying. Now granted, sex is not just about physicality. (or at least it shouldn't be in my book) But if you are with a gal that you seriously are very unattracted to because of her body... I don't know if I could say that's your fault. Now, if I was with a gal, and I was totally in love with her... and she let herself go and became overweight... I don't know how that would affect me.

Jen- was it that you were proud in a way? Or defensive about it? Saying "Yeah, so...." can also be considered being defensive. Just curious as to if it was a "Yeah, so..." in a "I really don't care if you don't like I'm fat because I'm happy with myself" type fashion, or a "Well there's more to life than being thin, so burn in hell" type of fashion.

Island Son.... I agree to a point. People with eating disorders may be diagnosed with a "problem". I honestly think some people will consider themselves to have an eating disorder, as a cover up for having no will power. Now granted... some people may literally have a hard time not eating, and I totally empathize. Like the people I saw that would literally eat in their sleep... they need help. But I think that counts for a small percent of the overweight population. But I do see where you are coming from.

Winstrol the Pooh- I agree that money doesn't mean happiness at all. But it sure can help. I would rather be poor, and have a happy life with my children, than be single, and be wealthy. Maybe I say that because I've never had a lot of money.

Wait a minute. Here's an analogy:

Maybe being fat is like being poor. You COULD go out and do something to improve your financial situation. But since you don't really know where to start, and you know it'll be a lot of work, you just stay content with not having money, because that's what you're used to.

If some wealthy guy comes up and says: "Hey, you're poor." I'd say "Yeah, but you're ugly, and I have big arms." Because my body is more important than money. Sort of like how overweight people just accept it, because they find more important things in life.

Does that make sense?

Its very simple

Its all in the power of the personality, but the reflective personality, you as seen through the eyes of other people, people you know, as more people get used to you, you see there acceptance as your acceptance.

The most attractive proposition to human beings is living in the comfort zone, without change, enough to get by

Why risk changing what is hassle free and stale, you can too easily lose yourself in the way other people live and be blinded by it.

Many people dont see this, they only see what other people do in there immediate sphere of influence and they live there lives accordingly as acceptance of what they are, not what they could be.

You can blame alot of it on corporate mentality, as things get easier, physically people will continue to deteriorate.

and as I said, people are always drawn to what is easiest and what is and was, not what could be...........

top 5 reasons why i dont respect fat people.
1. fat people in groups combine minds
2.fat people have the same mind set.
3.they convince you out of good health
4.are uneducated about self esteem and self respect"should be 1"
5.they are detrumental to healthy lifestyle

not to offend anyone please imo!!!!!!!!

consructive critisizm is benficial to them but when that happends they turn to food thinking your just bashing them.
they are on the same level as crackheads cokeheads meathheads
they turn to food for comfort. what happends to a crackhead after a while thet get skinny and start missing teeth and shit the same with fat people they just trigger fat growth.
the only thing that makes them feel good is high sugar or fat food

again this post is not to single anyone out just venting 13 years of food dependance

Help people help themselves. I have trained many people just for the sake of watching them do things that they once thought of as impossible.
