with weights, 1 year, 6 days. though I was doing endurance training for some time before that, running/jump rope etc...

thanks for the great comments boscoe and daisy, the whole time has really been just me experimenting on my body, I never really just picked some advice and stuck to it, I've done all sorts of incredibly crazy things.. heh...

some things that caused me to gain very rapidly and some that were very catabolic (like the time I tried a 1000 calories/day of pure protein diet) lol

but it's all been fun, throughout the course my weight could fluctuate anywhere between 169-230.. I'll probably still just be experimenting on my body for quite some time to come.. and maybe in a few years I'll decide what is best and stick to some sort of plan :p

You certainly look like you've added lean mass!! Looks good and this is just the beginning for you! It's amazing how much there is to learn though isn't it? I was SO clueless (especially about diet) before EF.

Experimenting is a good thing. What works for one doesn't always work well for another-- and by really getting to know how your body reacts to changes in diet and training you'll be able to construct a very personalized program for yourself. :)

right on, yeah, there certainly is a lot to learn, I'm not sure I want to add much more mass; when I was at 230 (though holding water like an ocean) and I do seem to retain water pretty easily :(
I noticed drastic degradation in my 10km run performance, endurance and intensity training is still very important to me and I perform it on nearly a daily basis from running to sprinting to exercycle; and even martial arts... right now I'm hitting my full body about 2-3 times per week.. I'm considering starting to box soon...

right now I'm fairly comfortable at my weight of 205; I'm 6'4 and that weight seems to work well for all my activities; though perhaps I could adapt to a greater weight if I maintained it for long enough, not sure.

My current project in experimentation is to see how dramtically I can lower bodyfat while retaining current muscle mass. I want to see if I can get it very low; since I think fat mass is sort of useless for the most part.. I don't feel I need a lot of it.

I was looking much harder just a couple weeks ago; but I'll get back there again and hopefully much more sickly looking.. viens striations etc... :p

some girls that I've know have said they liked my body better before, so this certainly is not helping me any in that department... but perhaps I'll get better luck with just dropping bodyfat, won't be as *large* or whatever...

Good progress, but three points;

1. get a haircut

2. the surupticious nipple shot made me laugh and wince at the same time

3. why are you holding a lampshade under your arm

I dunno, lampshade holding became a hobby of mine a couple years back... it's stuck with me ever since.

Can i offer a suggestion?

Your arms will grow a lot faster if you put some effort into your forearms.

Good progress though
