saw this two days ago. while driving, there were a bunch of kids on one side of the street waiting for the school bus. on the other side of the street, there was this little girl (id say she was old enough to be in the 2nd grade) that looked both ways before crossing the street. she was by herself- no adult supervision anywhere near her. there was cars coming at both directions of the street but i guess she thought she could be traffic. as she crossed the street, this car didnt notice the little girl till it was too late. fortunately, the little girl had sense enough to stop running across the street before the car hit her. it was close though. i wouldnt be surprised if her hands touched the passengers side door. the driver of that vehicle had this terrified look on her face when she noticed that she almost hit the little girl. i felt bad for her. anyway, what kind of parent would let their kid alone like that?
