Solidified Gear Help

Indy

I have never made my own gear, but I have some that has gelled up abit from sitting on the porch after delivery in the freezing weather. I am able to get it back to liquid by soaking in very hot water for awhile, but after it cools it goes back to gel again ?? I have heard in the past that it needs baked again, I think someone posted about 10 minutes at 350 degrees with a needle in the top to relieve pressure during heating. I want to verify if I HAVE to do this, and is the correct protocol. Seems like the rubber stopper would burn up or dry out if vial is baked after it's capped ??

thanks in advance,

boil some water..let cool just a tad..soak vial for 5-10minutes...swirl back into solution. try not to store in cold areas.

Did that, then at room temp, it solidified again overnight, gell falls to bottom of vial.

would go for about 30 actually, ten minutes would barely heat the oil up, but doing this at 250 should avoid any melting of anything, the only thing that might melt is the top of the needle where it connects to the syringe, but should be good, if this doesn't work then you might have to refilter it if thats the case i can walk you through it later

Thanks bro, I'll let ya know how it goes the next time we talk, hopefully this weekend.

Indy, 250 is a good temp, 10 minuts is not really long enough if its starting out at room temp. I like to let is soak in hot water for (2) 10 minutes rounds (reheating the water in between) to kind of preheat the vial, then place it in the oven for another 20 at 250 degrees. I had some Masteron 3 years ago that did the same thing (only I could not get it back into solution even when i placed it in a pot of boiling water for 20 minutes). the extra 40 degress (250) inthe oven finally worked. Does it seeem to you that I use () too much???
