Solid lumps after injecting

OK, So I injecting into my right pec last week and there is still a solid mass present...I have tried massaging it...Heating pad, and tylenol....What the hell is it and what should I do....?? I need that spot for my injections

i get them ocassionally too.. ive found heating it makes it worse, use ibeprofeun (sp*) and massage it when you can, time is really all that will heal it

More than likely it is a mixture of two things. One, it is still a lump of oil that has yet to break up and move into the system. Two, its a tissue reaction to the solvent used in the product. A lot of underground labs and other Mexican companies use some older technology solvents like Benzyl Alcohol which can cause a reaction like this in the tissue. Continue to massage and heat it off and on and see if it will break up. If it gets got to the touch or painful, get into the doctor as soon as possible.

With all due respect to you Mr. Jelfa, your question is posed like you know the answer. If you do, please feel free to post it.

I can tell you very clearly that most underground labs use high amounts of Benzyl Alcohol because their products are not made in a high quality pharmaceutical lab. There is a reason that a pharmaceutical grade injectable doesn't hurt in the same manner as a Mexican or smaller underground lab brand. There are many co-solvents that can be used and Benzyl Alcohol shouldn't be the primary one used. Problem is that most underground labs not only don't have the science to use anything else, they need the higher concentrations to try and avoid infections caused by their manufacturing process. So while pharmaceutical companies may use BA in their process, it will be an insignificant amount compared to an outdated "home brew" type of lab. I hope this is a more acceptable answer for you.
