COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (AP)—
United States softball player Shawn Mandolesi has been suspended from competition for two years after testing positive for steroids.
Mandolesi tested positive for 19-norandrosterone and 19-noretiocholanolone at the Men's USA national team tryout camp in Chula Vista, California, on Sept. 14, U.S. Anti-Doping Agency officials said Monday.
The 29-year-old Mandolesi's suspension started Sept. 20. The USADA is the independent anti-drug agency for Olympic sports in the United States
