So predictable

fuk the doctor wth do they really know they are compromised by pfizer and bayer!!!
get some bathtub test, blast 1000mgs for 12wks then cruise 500mgs for 12.
safe and effective!!!

All Jokes aside. I have been on Test Cyp. Injections for over 10 years, no off cycle. As long as you keep getting the blood work there is very little to worry about! I get blood work about every 4 months, Test level, PSA, and assorted liver things. With my injections, 200 ml every two weeks, My testosterone runs around 300 ng/DL. Thats not enough to build big muscles but it puts me in the low end of the normal range. Psa level on last blood work was .3, thats measures for prosterate cancer.
Most Doctors are still afraid to put anyone on steroids, yes testosterone therapy is the same as going on steroids. I would find another Dr. ASAP. There is nothing wrong with getting a second opinion or a third and forth if needed. I was able to return to being my same old slef after I started the injections I would guess that your husband will too!

Androgel will raise his level to the appropriate range. He probably lied to you about the liver damage thing to get you to STFU. At the follow up, you should tell him you frequent a steroid site and see if you can convince him then!
LO, I didnt like fight him directly on it he just asked me if I knew anything about the treatments so I told him what I kinda thought and found through research, I really dont mind the Gel as long as it does really work, my husband doesnt feel well and I've known this for a long time, he didnt because he just thought this is the way life is, also his levels are really really low, even the Endo was surprised to see it given he's just 30 and this isnt a recent thing.

Also, your husband can't walk a pug without ending up in the ER, or ride a roller coaster without suffering brain damage...pretty sure that ngr has no business using a syringe.
I've said it a million times!!! It was a french bulldog ;)

^^^ THIS is exactly what we are looking for, we dont need/want injections but we want something that will actually work, poor thing is always tired, has no energy, no libido... this Dr is supposed to be one of the best in the area, has a damn 2 month waiting list and all

The biggest problem with topicals -- that I know of -- is they don't always work for everyone, or they only work for a short time and then the T levels crap out again for some weird reason (that's what happened to my husband, everything was good for about three months and then he was back in the low end again). If they work, and he's not adverse to applying the gel, then it's all the same. If they don't work a good doc will put him on the injections if he isn't needle phobic. Sometimes try to push the pellets over shots, some guys love that delivery system, some people have weird reactions and end up with too much/too little.

Hubby's getting Androgel...
We went to the endo today and after screening my husband he sent more tests and said he is giving him androgel, I protested and told him my husband's T isn't just low it is concerning how low it is and I felt androgel wasnt going to be aggressive enough, he basically told me to STFU and use the androgel because the shots are too aggressive and may cause liver damage... hubby is getting more tests tomorrow and pending results he'd get the androgel prescription on Friday.... I didnt push the issue to hard because WTF do I know, he's the Dr and I'm not, he knows his medial history and what may or may not be in his bet interest... I hope so at least...
BTW he forced me to leave while he examined my husband for any testicular trauma, hubby said I could stay and he fucking kicked me out
