Clomid will cause acne because it has a strong affinity for the estrogen receptors in the sebaceous glands of the face. Estrogen has a positive effect on facial complexion. When you block the action of estrogen you essentially lose its positive effects with respect to acne and oil production..

To a certain extent... Have the proper blance is best... But decreased estrogen binding can cause acne.

Lone AZ, I agree with what you are saying, but I think that after a cycle the test levels are much lower than the estrogen levels. This imbalance wreaks havoc in certain individuals and their complexion (I am one of them). I used arimidex and nolvadex along with clomid after my last cycle and my complexion was much better. Possibly the arimidex and nolvadex (overkill for sure) raised test levels slightly and dropped estrogen and normalized my hormonal levels. Only a theory....

post cycle your immune system is depressed due to low test levels, thats what really causes the acne

i did anavar only for my first cycle and no clomid at the end. I broke out bad for a couple weeks after my cycle
