DOHA, Qatar (AP) -- Hossein Rezazadeh of Iran won the overall and clean-and-jerk gold medals in the 231-pound division Thursday at the World Weightlifting championships.

Rezazadeh, who holds the world record in the snatch, clean-and-jerk and overall categories, won with a total of 1,016 pounds from a 463-pound snatch and a 553-pound clean-and-jerk.

Evgeny Chigishev of Russia won gold in the snatch with his third lift of 465 pounds, and was second overall with 1,008.
