I was DL'ing (not even heavy, damnit) and felt a little pop right under my ribskind of between my abs and obliques. It feels like a bruise instead of any kind of spasm or anything. Anyone ever go through this? How long does it take to go away?
probably just pulled an intercostal muscle (you said it's up in yourt ribs right?). Ice and rest buddy. I know you hate hearing that, but there it is. That's the treatment...unless you want to seperate the rib completely. If you are stubborn, you can try wrapping your ribs quite tightlty, but you'd be better off with ice and rest.
It can hurt for a while, because you are constantly breathing, moving, twisting, etc. If it gets worse, definitely go to doctor.
