So I missed 2 out of 4 days of my 5x5 today

I know most of you don't lift, but JerkBox is fat, so it's cool. Here's my question: Tomorrow, which is normally arm day, should I just do my normal arm day routine (with pink leg warmers and LA Gear on), or should I just do bb curls and close grip bench 5x5 and get in my missed 5x5 (deadlifts, military press and bench press)? Or should I just come to all y'alls'es trailer parks and kick some fucking ass? :artist:

GO on with what the next-workout would be
I hear ya, but I hate missing a week on 5x5. Next week I'll be pissed cause I should have been lifting 5 more pounds

Do some searches on my Old School workout - the rest will serve you well

Arm day? WTF is that?!?!?!?!?!

i havn't worked out in almost 2 months (injury then started moving = couldn't lift if i had the time which i don't have anyway). thought i'd say that before giving my opinion of what to do.

i did 5x5 from January to May, then June to August. i had a good schedule so i rarely missed a day. when i did, however, i'd make it up the next day. the thing that pushed me the hardest to do that was knowing that i wouldn't get a chance to work that bodypart for another week. considering 5x5 only lets you work each bodypart once a week, i felt it was very important to make that happen no matter what.

my upper body didn't have too much of a problem with 5x5. i moved along pretty steadily, but i think i could've made more progress working each bodypart twice a week.

my legs suffered on 5x5. after the 4th week, my squats were not looking good (weight wise) at all. i added box squats and leg curls to the Monday chest/calves day. squats/SLDL/calves were all done on friday. the addition of a second leg day made a huge difference for me.

ok, all this talk of working out is making me upset. fuckin shoulder needs to heal NOW. take this shit back to the training board so i don't get depressed again.

you should go with whatever you work out for tomorrow should be. the time off that you took by missing a couple days will benefit you...after you get done, then you should go to the trailer parks and proceed to kick some fuckin ass!!!

why would you wear pink legwarmers on arm day? thats so gay- save them for leg day :)

(since when is JB fat??? hes pretyyhot is his avatar)

If I had to miss some days..I would use my last day to get all the 5x5's in and skip the ancillary exercises. I think they are more important

Yeah, I stuck to my normal arm day. I hate missing a day on 5x5, but trying to fit in all the missed 5x5's would have resulted in a subpar workout.

I'd start my week cycle over again, or start what ever group is the least sore.
or kick ass in the trailer park, with the LA Gear, and maybe like a Dale Earnhardt hat.
