I was closing this big heavy iron gate and I've told them that it needs to be oiled because it's hard to close even for me.... My foot got trapped underneath the gate and I fell down twisting my ankle and back and scraping up my arm... My ankle is pretty severely sprained I think and my back hurts. I was looking around to see if anyone saw it happen because even though it hurt, I would have been embarrassed as hell... I was literally trapped and finally had to pull my foot out of my shoe to get loose.... Can I sue? What about Workers Comp?

In texas right? Yes if it happenned at work on the job or as part of your duties for "closing up" then yes you can get workers comp if they are insured. If you have proof you told them many times and you did not sign a no sue clause when you were hired then you may have a case. But then again if they are good to you then you would only fuck yourself.
