So I hit the highly recommended Rack Pulls today..

Tell you what, these bad boys rock! Felt great in my traps and lats. I pulled some okay weight...pulled 405 without much trouble at all, but my grip was screaming even with the wraps.
But it didn't end well...I attempted 445, but my grip just wasn't having it. AND, at his first attempt at 405, my partner pulled something in his lower neck and was hurting pretty bad:( Hoping he is ready tomorrow for shoulders...but I doubt it.

On an up note though, if I can help my grip some, I know I can nail that 445...which would feel real good, since my last dead workout yielded a final set of 345x3.

Thanks for the advice everyone, and thebrute and WalkingBeast, thanks especially to you guys!! I'll be catching you guys real soon:p

Thanks bro! And yea, double in size sounds like a winner to me:D I've noticed some great lat growth since starting deads, looking for even more!

Question guys. I had been doing deads once a week...which was every OTHER back routine (working back twice a week, for those slow ones:D )
So, is doing deads and rack pulls in the same week (but not same workout) a good idea? Typically with my dead workout, I also do upright rows, barbell shrugs, and bent-over barbell rows. I thought I'd do cable movements on rack pull day...face pulls, lat-pulldowns, and such. Thoughts?

BTW, I work every muscle group twice a week...and has been working really well for me.
