Failing to stop at a stop sign!

Last ticket I had was 6 years ago and it was speeding, I paid it right off..

I did stop last night, but i got charged with disorderly conduct back in oct for telling the cops to fuck themselves...So I think that maybe that is why he did not let me go with a warning last night..

So should I fight this? 100$ not inc the surcharge on my ins cause it is a moving violation......

Do you think I would win? I have 1 continue without a finding on my record and only 1 ticket in the 7 years i have been driving..I think I should

was it brown?

I think you should stop being a bad driver.

But that would involve you getting a sex change.
I am a damn good driver. Only 1 ticket for speeding and a "failure" to stop..(but damn I stopped!)

It might be worth it. There's no telling. Perhaps the cop won't show up and you can win by default.

Is there a lawyer in the house? (that means you HR)

yeah, you should try to fight it, if you can take the time off work to show up to court.

what happened in the situation where you told the cop to fuck off? I dont see how they could charge disorderly conduct for that.

No, don't fight it. You will lose. You didn't stop. It's easy to tell.

Telling a cop to "go fuck" themselves is neither admirable nor useful. You deserve to get harrassed by them for a while now.

lol, they dont like me. :worried:
See the problem is that this is a town which they call a city.We have so many cops it is not even funny. I understand that we need the k9 unit or what ever. But a graffitti unit, a coroners type detective team, a paddy wagon...There is a cop literally on every corner, yet you call em when you need them and they aren't around. We have cut school funding for the city in order to keep all 60 some thing cops, and 30 some thing firemen..It is ridiculous here

Look up the Ticket Clinic in your area. You pay about $70 and they fix the ticket so you don't pay it and there are no points on your license.

really, cool. I will look into that. Thanks

Oh I can relate.....
I would never swear at a cop (to his face) so I think that alone will show a judge belligerence.
I ended up paying my ticket (even though I KNOW I would have won) simply because the stress and 1/2 day loss from work was not worth the $151.
Angel, just pay it.....and do it soon. The quicker you get that "pain" over with, the less frustrated you will be

Cops are there to help the public, not help you break the law. You know why they have laws, don't you? Poliec think the same thing "fuck the public" all they do is help and do there job and fuckers try to fuck them. What if a cop stopped you and said, fuck you bitch, your going down, how would you feel?

The last ticket I got was back in 1994. I was pregnant, sick and trying to get home so I could puke. The cop pulled me over, 32 in a 25, gave me this long speach, I puked on his damn foot, and he still gave me the ticket. lol

Driving While Ugly?

Pay it and forget about it. It is the best thing you can do.
Otherwise, you will turn into one of those loser's who thinks the cops are out to get them when in reality you are nobody to them.
Pay it and forget about it.

Doesn't matter to me, most threads are about me anyways, your loss, toots

Angel, you can contact the DA's office in your area. Ask them if you pay the ticket now, if they can make sure it doesn't affect your insurance. They do it all the time. Good Luck!

You definately live down south.
That will not fly up here. Its all about convictions and making money to pay for the rediculous taxes in Mass.

Agreed!
The Da would laugh at me if I ever asked such a question.

They would be pissed that you wasted their time.
They would probably say something like "Are you trying to bribe me?"
Just pay it and forget about it.

Are you serious? well that sucks. Just go to court, plead not guilty and they will give you another court date for like a year later and then, maybe the cop won't be there anymore and you'll get off then. lol

I fought mine, it was worth it to me. I paid a $30 court fee, plus the ticket and didnt recieve points on my insurance which at least in the tri state area will shoot your insurance premium up a few hundred dollars a year for 3 years.

They set the date for a bout a month to two months later.
They also tell you to be there by 8:15am. They can make you wait until 4pm.
Its not worth it. If you go to the bathroom they can call your case up. If you are not there you are automatically guilty and a bench warrant is issued for your arrest!

Let women drive: Saudi princess

Published: Friday, January 26, 2007
The highest-profile princess in Saudi Arabia's ruling family says if she could change one thing about her country, she would let women drive. The rare challenge to the ban imposed by men from Princess Lolwah al-Faisal, the daughter of a former king, shows while public debate on the issue is mostly non-existent, many women in the kingdom do still want change. "First thing, I'll let women drive," she said in response to question of what she would change about her country if she possessed a magic wand.

I give all my tickets to my lawyer if they are a moving violation so my insurance don't go up. I know people that have done less than I have and don't have a license. I was also a bad bad boy for a few years and racked up over 30pts against my license. Mostly DWS charges that were later disposed of. Thanks to mr steve m.
