So I got bored last night...

And decided to try a Tricept Injection. 1cc of B12, using a slin pin. Everything went smooth as butter. However, after pulling the needle out, my arm was very sore. I guess I hit the outer side of the horseshoe cause that sucka was tight as a rock. It throbbed for about 10-15 minutes. Then I fell asleep. Woke up this morning, and everything was fine.


I seriously doubt I'll ever use it as an injection site...too many spots on the quads/delts/glutes. However, I am beginning to notice some scar tissue on the quads...crackling sound/feeling during injection.

it's b12 man, why would you use anything but a slin pin? I think you can sub q it also, so even if it doesn't get deep into the muscle, no worries.

not sure how much fat you have on your tricept, but a slin pin definitely suffices for me

that crackling sound is the b12 pushing through the scar tissue... it might even break it up and lessen appearance of any scar on the outter layer of skin (if any).

I like tricep injections. Although I use the long head of the tricep. Never had any issues.
