So I got another tattoo

On my forearm. It's hard to describe and it isn't done yet. It's a complicated band - kind of vines and leaves and shit. You'd really have to see it. That shit hurt WAY more than on the back of my neck. I have fucking two hours of it left too. Oh well I guess. Took the pain like a man, if you don't count the slight trembling in my legs. At least i didn't bitch or complain or pass out. FYI, the worst area is the elbow - it hurts a fucking pantload. Anyways, please reply with something jubilant and happy and do your best to convey those feelings unto others. Thank you.

Who cares? Honestly, I would never work anywhere that wouldn't hire me based on the way I look. I'll probably end up being a prof and it's your credentials that get you hired. I get accepted into schools and programs based on shit on paper - they never meet me. Later, there may be an interview but I can always wear long sleeves. I'm relatively certain that a lot of muscle is going to be a larger deterrent in my field of choice than a tattoo. That wasn't a very uplifting response either.

Cas - The one on my neck is actually just below my neck on the back side. It's of a star. Nothin' special really. I'm not some tattooed-up freak or anything. The only stuff i have is this one on my forearm which is bigger and more intricate than I had thought it would be, and an eyebrow ring which I've had forever. I want to draw my own tat and get it on my chest maybe and that'll be it for me. I would like to draw my own once though since i do draw a lot.

C-sharp - That's kind of a creepy happy if you follow. I'm looking for something a little more subtle and less rambuncscious (sp?). Thanks for trying though.

Man I want a tattoo so badly, but I know eventually down the road I will regret having it bigtime. That's why I don't ever get one.

By the way where did you get your tattoo (you're in Toronto right)? How do they charge you (ie by the hour or by the size and tattoo)?

I live in Toronto but I actually got it done in Hamilton. There an excellent artist that comes in on weekends whose style I liked. They ythe hour really. Mine will probably come to $300-$350 total. Who te fuck cares if you regret it? Just don't get anything modern or trendy and you'll be fine. Stick with things that you have always liked and that have positive associations for you and you can't really go wrong.
