And I am having a hell of a time...
I know it does nothing but aggravate me, and I tell myself that it is not really worth it to get myself angry, that I should just be cool and let it roll off my back, but this is not working...
For example:
On the 20 minute ride home from work yesterday:
Making a left out of my lot onto a two lane, a douchebag in a Subaru wagon stops right in front of me in traffic instead of giving me enough space to take a left...
On a merging on-ramp, some redneck in a pickup tries to speed up and sneak in front of me...
On a rotary some jerk off in a Jetta on a cell phone almost runs into me because he is swerving all over the road, paying no attention...
Some douche in an IS300 keeps rolling through a stop sign and almost hits me as I go through an intersection...
I should just be cool - this is how people always drive. I have been driving for over 20 years, I know this...but the cumulative effect of commuting for years in hellish Boston traffic is starting to get to me more than usual.
My 1st instinct is to beat all of the above to death with a tire iron.
I need some zen master technique to create calm in the face of rage. Any ideas?
